What scanner do I need?

Any Bluetooth barcode scanner works. We recommend back-clip scanners (~$35 on Amazon) that attach right to your phone - scan one-handed while you walk the floor. Pairs in seconds with iPhone, Android, tablets, or computers.

How does the Clover sync work?

EZ Audit connects directly to your Clover account through secure OAuth. We pull your current inventory levels and compare them against your scanned counts in real-time. Any discrepancies appear instantly.

Can employees see expected inventory counts?

No - that's by design. Employees only see what they've scanned, not what the count "should" be. This prevents bias and ensures honest counting. Only Managers and Admins see discrepancies.

What if an item doesn't have a barcode?

You can manually search for items by name or SKU directly in the app. We also support printing custom barcode labels for items that don't have them.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. We use Clover's official OAuth system - we never see your password. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We've passed Clover's security review to be listed on their App Market.
